A mind-body Approach to Well-Being

I am a Clinical Psychologist specialized in mind-body health, emotion regulation, and stress-related eating patterns.

My work is dedicated to adults and young adults experiencing difficulties in their relationship with food and body, including eating disorders, emotional eating, and chronic stress.

The goal is to understand and transform the psychological and physiological mechanisms underlying eating behaviors, emotional dysregulation, and loss of self-regulation.

I integrate tools from clinical psychology, mindfulness, and body awareness, enriched by theoretical and practical insights from Eastern medical traditions such as Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), to help you rebuild a stable, conscious, and sustainable relationship with yourself.

HOW IT WORKS

Each process begins with a clinical assessment exploring your emotional history, lifestyle, and specific challenges related to food, body image, and stress.  From there, a personalized plan is developed, through an approach  that combines evidence-based tools from clinical psychology, self-regulation strategies, and mind-body awareness practices informed by mindfulness research.

I integrate evidence-based tools from different psychological and neuroscientific approaches to foster mind-body balance and sustainable psychophysical well-being over time.

It aims to cultivate clarity, resilience, and emotional stability while promoting a deeper connection with one’s inner experience.

Sessions are available in person and online (Zoom, FaceTime, WhatsApp Video), in English or Italian.

My approach aims to restore harmony between mind, emotions, and body by integrating scientific evidence, clinical experience, and cross-cultural knowledge.

This allows for a more comprehensive understanding of how psychological and physiological processes interact, supporting both emotional stability and long-term psychophysical well-being.

My work is grounded in an integrated mind-body model that connects psychological, emotional, and physiological processes, promoting an interdisciplinary vision of well-being.

Each person is unique — with their own history, body, and way of processing emotions and experiences. For this reason, every path of change respects the principle of bio-individuality: what supports balance in one person may not work for another.

Over time, I have developed an integrated clinical approach that combines cognitive psychology, psychosomatic medicine, mindfulness, neuroscience, and functional medicine. This model is further enriched by theoretical and practical insights from Eastern medical traditions, such as Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), which offer a complementary perspective on the mind-body connection and on the psychophysiological mechanisms of self-regulation.
